Ceramic coating is a clear, multi-layerable, and nano-ceramic liquid coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface to a permanent, durable yet flexible glass shield. Ceramic Pro can be described as an additional clear coat, with 3 times the hardness and self-cleaning properties. Xpel, the industry leaders in self-healing paint protection film, offer FUSION PLUS ceramic coating. Purposely developed to perform with PPF (paint protection film) and painted surfaces, XPEL FUSION PLUS Ceramic Coating offers unrivaled gloss, superior hydrophobic protection, and improved scratch resistance with a single application. | ![]() |
You may be asking "What's the difference between PPF (paint protection film) and Ceramic Coating?"
We get that question a lot.
Put simply, PPF gives you actual protection from dings and scratches. It's even self-healing. Someone could key your car, and soon after, it will be like it never happened as after sitting in the sun baking, it self-heals!
Ceramic coating is more aesthetic than protective. While it does certainly offer an added layer of protection against smaller abrasions like sand, pebbles, etc. it is moreso to protect your paint and give your vehicle that fresh "wet" glossy look.
